The Sound Logic is a garage rock duo from Detroit who have been rocking since 2012. You may be thinking that garage rock duos are ten-a-penny in Detroit, and you may be right. However, the quality of the tunes on this self-titled debut, coupled with some gnarly, stoner-esque wails and super-fuzz allows the band to stand out. The melodies almost go the classic rock route, minus the epic vibe and over-production. Rather, this is dirty blues that fits in beautifully in a gloriously dirty town.

DJ Clay is the resident mixmaster (or at least one of them) at Psychopathic Records, so it’s unsurprising that his mixtape A World Upside Down contains tunes by ICP, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and Legz Diamond & the Purple Gang. Clay gift is in the links, the flow, although the skits in-between are fun too.
