Liz Larin will be presenting her electronic project Lusterkraft at the Magic Bag on October 5, alongside FlashClash and Wireless G.
They say, “'LusterKraft' is a special solo electronic music project with projected visual art, first released in 2008 on Bona Dea Music which has been touring selective cities in the US and Canada. áOn the road Liz is never without her electric guitar, audio recorder and video camera has used these tools to create 'LusterKraft.' The name is a nod to the godfathers of 20th century electronic music, 'Kraftwerk,' and combined with rock, jazz, and R&B musical influences create a multi-sensory performance.”
Should be fascinating.
On a sad note, the extra Dirty Show that was scheduled for September 21-23 at Clutch Cargos has been cancelled.
Dirty Show founder and curator Jerry Vile said in a statement that, “It was a series of unfortunate events- all leading to disaster. It is costing a small fortune to cancel- not even counting the income generated by the second show. But this exhibition is about more than making a buck. The outcome would have been a step backward- rather than a leap forward. And that was unacceptable. We believe everything happens for reason. The light at the end of this tunnel is this; the very best of this show is being rolled into our 14th annual Dirty Show in February. A show what will be the most amazing exhibition we have ever presented.”
