The awesome Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas, the former Metro Times cover star, will play the Magic Stick Lounge on Wednesday, January 30, with the Growlers.
According to the Majestic website, “The Growlers are a rock and pop group formed in Long Beach, California in 2006 who are yet to became one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands in the history of popular music. Their “bent sound” has been perfected in their live act that some onlookers call “groovy” and or “sick”. The groovy unexcelled value in Lo Fidelity sound is their stock and trade.”
But enough about the Californians. Hernandez is opening and this is another great opportunity to see this amazing bad in an intimate setting before it blows up.
