Jack White’s Third Man Records is said to be digging deep into White’s past to unearth and release recordings by his band Jack White & the Bricks from 1999.
The record will be called Jack White and the Bricks: Live on the Garden Bowl Lanes, obviously due to the fact that the show took place at the Majestic complex alley. The Bricks featured Brendan Benson on guitar, Kevin Peyok on bass and Ben Blackwell of the Dirtbombs on drums.
According to RollingStone.com, the live album will be pressed on “bowling pin-white vinyl”, and will include two Dylan covers (“Isis” and “I Threw it All Away”) as well as early versions of “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” and “The Union Forever”.
