National pop-punkers the Audition, featuring Detroit singer Danny Stevens, are going on tour in the spring, hitting Detroit’s St. Andrew’s Hall on April 12.

Says frontman Danny Stevens, "After taking nearly a year and a half off of touring, I think the fans can really tell that the band has been rejuvenated and that we are really, genuinely excited to be back out on the road!"

According to the release, the band self-released their brand new EP, CHAPTER II, in February via an incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign which saw fans around the world contributing thousands more than their goal. On the EP, The Audition has evolved their signature sound into one that demonstrates new maturity and depth, and their hard work has clearly paid off. Chapter II has won rave reviews from both critics and fans alike, prompting Stevens to say "the EP reaction has been better than I could have ever hoped for... you have to rely on your fans and from what I've been hearing from them all, they love the new EP."
