Some troubling fireworks going on over at the Bohemian National Home, Detroit's favorite venue for genuinely alternative and just plain "out there" music. We can't say more right now but will as soon as we can. Suffice it to say that the venue is closed for now -- but most of the scheduled shows will be moved to other D-Town stages. In fact, our pal Joel Peterson, the Bohemian National Home's booker, co-owner and main spokesperson in the past (as well as the name and face we've always associated with the place), informs us that the Odu Afrobeat Orchestra and Megafaun show, scheduled for this Saturday night, September 13th, will now take place at the CAID. Andy Krieger's solo art show (previewed in tomorrow's MT) this weekend is still going forward, however. Stay tuned for future developments...
