After more than 50 years of performing, it was announced Tuesday that the legendary Michigan rocker Bob Seger would put his "Night Moves" to rest as he plots his final tour.

The Travelin' Man Tour finds Seger accompanied by his Silver Bullet Band for a final trek across the U.S. which includes several makeup dates after being forced to reschedule last year's Runaway Train Tour after Seger underwent spinal surgery.

The 73-year-old Seger is the latest artist to retire from the road as he joins the farewell ranks along with Paul Simon, Elton John, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joan Baez, Ozzy Osbourne.

The 26-show farewell tour will kick-off in Grand Rapids at the Van Andel Arena on Nov. 21. Though the current itinerary does not include Detroit dates, Seger's team assures that more dates will be added in the coming weeks including shows in Las Vegas, Fresno, San Diego, Vancouver, Florida, and more.

Seger's last hometown performance came in the form of a different kind of farewell as he closed out the former home of Pistons basketball and big-ticket concert venue the Palace of Auburn Hills. Appropriately, Seger and company concluded the evening with “Rock and Roll Never Forgets."

Tickets for the Grand Rapids performance go on sale Friday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased here. View the full itinerary below.
