No sooner than the duo winds up in the lead spot of the MT's music section this week than Detroit hip-hop stars Black Milk and Danny Brown release a new video to support their latest EP. Black and Brown, the 10 track, 22 minute cannon shot of a combo album that came out this past Tuesday is the talk of music blogs all across the country right now.
It features a side of Black Milk's production capabilities that most fans have never heard before and a host of comedic, sexed up lyrics from Danny Brown that audiences have come to expect. Even though they're both on tour and literally continents apart, they managed to release a music video yesterday. Local directors Gerard Victor and Adrienne Williams did a great job stringing this together and it's almost at a point now where if there's an amazing hip-hop video being shot in Detroit, these two are behind it. I'm not sure why the full song on the EP is 3:42 and the video is just 2:02 but it inevitably leaves viewers hungrier for more which ain't exactly a bad thing.
