Detroit rapper Big Sean and his G.O.O.D. Music label reps announced yesterday that the 23-year-old MC will be headed out on tour again starting next month. This is a headlining tour of his own and Big Sean will have a lot to prove starting October 2nd when the tour opens up in North Carolina.
Hopefully, any kinks that have plagued some of his previous shows will be ironed out before the tour gets started. The knock on Sean (aside from being a pretty boy) is that his stage shows aren't consistently entertaining throughout the set. He can start strong and entice crowds with his radio singles and mixtape favorites, but he inevitably loses crowds somewhere in the set and gets borderline boring. A mediocre review of his performance just last week at the Virgin Mobile FreeFest can attest to that.
Regardless, he's got three weeks to figure everything out as he'll mostly being playing large theaters and concert venues that will demand arena-like performances or fall flat. I can't help but wonder why he's only playing three shows in the South.

Speaking of pretty boy, here's a recent freestyle* that Big Sean kicked on the Tim Westwood show in London that just hit the web a few days ago.
*Does anyone actually freestyle anymore or do people just spit writtens that haven't been recorded yet?
