Between the two white South African rappers who make up Die Antwoord, there are maybe a dozen words you'll be able to make out on their debut record. Half of their rhymes are in English, but good luck figuring out what Ninja (who sports a Vanilla Ice haircut) and Yo-Landi Vi$$er (she has a mullet) are going on about. Keeping it real, they throw in a "fuck" or two here and a "cock" there, but it's all about the flow and beats on 5 Track. "Enter the Ninja," their breakthrough song, bookends the CD with the original and remix versions. In between are cuts about nasty girls, getting high, and fishpaste. The pulsating European-style beats suit Yo-Landi's helium-voiced choruses and Ninja's jagged verse bites, all of which give the EP the sound of a decade-old video game from another country. Don't bother looking for instructions.
