Home venue for the hottest poetry set in Detroit, the PicNap Poetry Series. The Meetery Eatery is Detroit's only official venue for slam poetry in 2006. Patrons are very friendly and open to all kinds of expressive art and conversation in Detroit's Midtown area. The Meetery Eatery is an internet deli with a twist. Great food, young progressive crowd includes students from Wayne State University and the College for Creative Studies. Venue partner for the 2006 Detroit PicNap Slam Team which will represent Detroit at national competition in Austin, Texas.
