Don Luciano's Place Trattoria

I can’t think of a more pleasant place than Luciano’s, on an Indian summer evening, to sit outside by the water. Luciano has nearly as many tables on the patio as inside, and they’re a stone’s throw from King’s Navy Yard Park, the Detroit River and Bob Lo Island. In addition to pasta, expect homemade sausage, penne topped with tomato sauce or fettuccini pescatore. Regular seafood offerings include trout, salmon, shrimp or whitefish, all prepared as you specify. If you have a particular request, mention it when you make reservations and it’s yours: rabbit, polenta, spedini made with lamb, a particular fish.
