It’s nearly wintertime in Detroit, which means it’s time to get cozy, hunker down, and sip whiskey with friends.
That’s what Metro Times’s annual Whiskey in the Winter is all about.
The 5th annual whiskey tasting event is set for 7-10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 at the Detroit Shipping Co. food hall.
Tickets are $40 for general admission and $65 for VIP.
VIP access grants you entry one hour before doors open, plus a swag bag, food tastings from the Detroit Shipping Co. restaurants, access to the Jack Daniel’s lounge tent, the Bardstown Upstairs Lounge (including a barber and a barber chair!), and exclusive tastings of brands like Blanton’s, Bardstown Silver Oak Collaboration, Macallan Harmony Collection #3, Eagle Rare, Buffalo Trace, E.H. Taylor, Weller Antique 107, Stagg Jr., and more!
Metro Times Best Of Detroit award winners the Whiskey Charmers will provide musical entertainment for the evening.
