The future home of Tenacity Brewing in Virginia Park.
Flint-based brewer Tenacity Craft is planning a brewpub and cafe that could open in Detroit's Virginia Park neighborhood by mid-summer.
Crain's reports that the company will brew beer on produce cider on site, and is seeking approval from the state to serve wine and mixed drinks. It'll also roast beans that it imports from a small family while offering a range of coffee drinks.
The food menu will include locally-sourced baked goods and dishes like tacos, nachos, and burritos.
The 2,000-square-foot space at 8517 Second Ave. will also be available for use as a community meeting space and hose trivia nights, yoga, and open mic nights.
