Roak Brewing Co. opens today

Roak, a brand new brewery in Royal Oak, will open to the public today at 4 p.m. Yesterday, we took a media tour of the space, which revealed that the the brewery, tucked behind Holiday Market on Main Street, features an intimate tasting room with a floor-to-ceiling window into a large brewing, bottling, and packaging facility.

Roak will have their six signature beers available, as well as a couple special brews. The brewpub will also be serving a small menu of pizza, salads, appetizers, and charcuterie.

A spokesperson from Roak told us they'll host a bigger grand opening party in about a month, but for now they're eager to have their public sample their goods.

Roak is located at 332 E. Lincoln, Royal Oak.
