Greektown's Pegasus Taverna's owners will take over the recently-closed New Parthenon and Santorini Estiatorio Greek restaurants.

The latter will become a  “new concept that will include a rooftop and dining establishment that will complement the offerings within the Greektown district,” Eater reports.

The Papas family, which owns Pegasus, is still mulling over options for New Parthenon. The news comes as larger changes are happening in Greektown, and while the family-style restaurants like Pegasus and Santorini have made the block what it is, it'd be nice to see someone — ahem — build a more modern and chef-driven Greek spot. Stay tuned for more news.
