Mark's Carts food cart park in Ann Arbor will permanently close by the end of October,
WEMU reports.
Owner Mark Hodesh, 73, says the business requires more work than he's willing to put in. Instead he'll use the space for the neighboring Bill's Beer Garden and to hold items from the nearby Downtown Home & Garden.
Each of the "carts" are individually owned and operated. Among those that are serving or have served food there are El Manantial, Hut-K, Simply Spanish, Great Grilled Sandwiches, Wood Fired Up, Everest Momo, The Lunch Room, Old Carolina, Pita Cruiser, Eat, Miss Kim, and more.
A food truck park, Fleat,
recently opened on 9 Mile in Ferndale earlier this summer.
