The first 200 lovebirds to hit HopCat Ann Arbor this Saturday will get a year's worth of free crack fries, according to a press release about the beer bar's grand opening. In addition to those delicious carbohydrates, the bar will also have a stellar beer menu including such rare and unusual brews as Founder's Brewing Co.'s KBS and CBS, Arbor Brewing Co.’s Demetrius Oake Barrel-aged Pale Ale, and Dogfish Head's 120 Minute IPA, among others.

“For HopCat Ann Arbor I challenged our team of beer nerds to come up with the best beer menu the world has ever seen,” said HopCat Founder Mark Sellers in the release. “I think they succeeded by finding some of the most-sought after and highly rated craft beers on the planet. We’ve also included some excellent, but seldom-seen international selections and outstanding new creations from Michigan craft brewers.”

The bar will have over 100 tap handles along with a menu of rare bottles, plus burgers, those aforementioned crack fries, and expanded vegetarian options.
