Laissez les bon temps rouler! That’s Cajun-French for “Let the good times roll,” which is exactly what Mardis Gras is all about. While the carnival celebration ensues throughout the Big Easy, Nancy Whiskey’s will be throwing its own kick-brass party. Gabriel Hall will unleash a Creole pop-up featuring a la carte items such as shrimp and grits, voodoo poutine, red beans and rice, dirty rice egg rolls, and a traditional king cake. The Gabriel Brass Band will also perform.

Gabriel Hall Mardi Gras pop-up opens at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at Nancy Whiskey's; 2644 Harrison St., Detroit; 313-962-4247; nancywhiskeydetroit.com; No cover, food sold a la carte.
