Grand Rapids
All Day IPA Session Ale
4.7 ABV | 42 IBU
Founder’s All Day IPA is available all year-round, but one could argue that this session beer is in its prime during the warmer months. It’s just 4.7% ABV, making it easy drinking whether you’re mowing the lawn or taking a shower. It’s made with a complex array of malts, grains, and hops and balanced for optimal aromatics and a clean finish, according to the brewer, and it rings in at 42 IBUs, so it’s not as bitter as a traditional IPA, which is usually around 100 IBU.
Founders Brewing Company, located in Grand Rapids, was established in 1997 and is well-known for brews like Kentucky Breakfast Stout and Canadian Breakfast Stout, both of which were ranked among Beer Advocate’s top 10 beers. In fact, Canadian Breakfast Stout was ranked the fourth best beer in the world by user reviews.
Compared to its most popular brethren, All Day IPA is a light beer that satisfies those looking for a tasty, yet refreshing craft brew, especially newcomers to the world of craft beer. It’s light in body, and though it’s got that signature IPA hop flavor, it’s not overpowering. Hence, it’s a great beer to pack into the cooler for a summertime barbecue.
You can find All Day IPA in cans or bottles at your favorite local craft-beer-selling market.
