Drought smoothie and juice bar's line of fresh cold-pressed juices are now available in Ann Arbor at 204 E. Washington St.

Julie James — one of four sisters who founded Drought in 2010 — tells MLive that the company regularly received requests for an Ann Arbor shop in recent years.

Juices retail for $9 to $11; cleanses run $63 to $189; and additional items like a 1-ounce ginger shot sells for $4. The juices are all USDA-certified organic with no water added, and deliveries to each location are made daily after the juice is pressed at Drought's Ferndale juice plant.

"We got positive feedback from day one and it just spiraled from there," James tells MLive. "We all believed in it and kept working on it."
