Rex has been with Imperial since "day one." He's as cool as a cucumber and chills with Henry Cavill when the Superman movie stars hits up the Ferndale drinking establishment, which is on a pretty regular basis. In fact, Imperial seems to host a number of celebrities, both local and international. Lions players and movie stars in particular seem to find the place quite homey. That's probably due to the fact that the staff treats them no different than any other customer. It doesn't hurt that this place has tasty, low maintenance, street-style eats and some seriously tasty cocktails.

You can hit this place any day of the week and grab a special drink or one of their signatures (we're partial to their house Bloody Mary as well as the tequila-based Ring of Fire), but their coolest offering is probably their infused spirits. Habanero-infused tequila? They've got it. What about something sweeter and more earthy, like a strawberry-basil bourbon? Check. According to Rex, these infused-spirits are a big draw for the bar. After all, you can't walk into any old place and order up such a concoction. The bartender recommends trying their strawberry-basil bourbon cocktail the next time you stop in.
