Does the snow have you homebound and hungry? Good news: A new food delivery app called DoorDash launched today in Detroit suburbs.

DoorDash is an app similar to UberEats, and has partnered with 1,500 restaurants to deliver food from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, according to a press release. Those restaurants include The Rusty Bucket, which has locations in Bingham Farms, Bloomfield, and Northville, and Renee's Gourmet Pizzeria, which has locations in Troy and Southfield.

The app will also deliver food from national chains like PF Chang's, California Pizza Kitchen, Wendy's, Granite City Brewery, Bravo! Cucina Italiano, and BRIO Tuscan Grille.

So far, the app has only launched in Oakland and Macomb counties, but plans are being laid to offer the service in downtown Detroit later this month.

To celebrate the launch, the app is offering $5 any order over $15. Just use the code DASHDETROIT. It is valid throughout February.
