Cottage Inn is offering $1 pizza for charity

Pizza is one of life's greatest joys - perhaps second only to giving to charity.

When the new Cottage Inn in Berkley opens on June 27, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy both. From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the new store, at 3642 W. 12 mile Rd., will give away a $1 medium cheese or pepperoni pizza to the first 800 customers.

For every pizza that rolls out the door, the store will donate $1 to Beaumont Children's Hospital.
