When powerhouse local chefs Luciano DelSignore and James Rigato decide to team up for a spring harvest dinner at Bacco, the expectation is the event will sell out quickly.

Indeed, the duo have filled to capacity their spring harvest dinner set for 7 p.m. Monday (originally to have taken place in a private dining area), so they're taking over the entire Southfield restaurant, which will open up some 45-50 more seats.

The event is to serve as a prelude for a fall popup the two are planning in DelSignore's hometown of Abruzzo, Italy. Included on the night's menu is braised rabbit lasagnette, grilled lamb ribs, lamb sausage, braised cabbage, borlotti beans and ricotta lemon cheesecake for dessert.

DelSignore has been building an Italian food empire, with his growing chain of Bigalora pizzerias and holding strong with his fine dining Bacco Ristorante. Rigato, too, is increasingly part of the restaurant lexicon, with his acclaimed Mabel Gray restaurant in Hazel Park and his success running the kitchen at The Root in White Lake.

Tickets are $75 per person. An additional $40 per person gets you a wine pairing. To RSVP, call 248-356-6600
