Metro Times' Summer Beer Fest is just around the corner. This Saturday, it'll take over the Royal Oak Farmers Market, featuring more than 40 breweries from around the world and right here in Michigan. We recently got our hands on the final draft of the event's beer list, so we figured we share it with you (see below).

Some exciting additions to this year's event include newcomers Roak. The brand new (they won't even open their doors to the public until tomorrow, June 18) Royal Oak brewery will have their Live Wire IPA, Powerboat Belgian Wheat, Mean Street Amber Ale, and Devil Dog Oatmeal Stout ready for sampling. Small Town Brewery will also be in-house with their Not Your Father's Root Beer

Other notable brews will include Frankenmuth's award-winning Batch 69 and a new-ish beer from MIP called Two Fisted Old Ale. National beer makers like Shock Top, Woodchuck Hard Cider, Samuel Adams, Sierra Nevada, Blue Moon, and Leinenkugel will be on hand while local breweries will include Atwater Brewing Company, Leelanau Brewing, Rochester Mills, Griffin Claw Brewing Co., and Dragonmead.

Other than beer, the event will feature local eateries, a DJ, dancing, and games like cornhole, Hammer-Schlagen, and giant Jenga.

General admission for Summer Beer Fest will start at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 and tickets are $45. VIP starts an hour earlier at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $65. VIP tickets include five extra drink tickets, plus access to rare brews in a more intimate setting. If you're just along to provide a ride, designated driver tickets are available for $15.
