Woodward Lecture Series: Piotr Szyhalski

Please join us for a Woodward Lecture by Polish-born and trained multimedia artist Piotr Szyhalski. The lecture, “Reporting from the Labor Camp: Art as a Social Act” gives an overview of 3 decades of his multidisciplinary practice culminating in the 2022 “We Are Working All The Time!” retrospective exhibition at Weisman Art Museum. Reviewing selected works from the exhibition, Szyhalski examines the labor of witnessing, processing and recording extreme historical phenomena.
