Woodstock In The “D”

Time to celebrate peace, love and understanding. Fifty years in the works. Plans are underway for a day-long event celebrating the Bringing in Woodstock alumni musical headliners from San Francisco, CANNED HEAT! Plus other original musicians who actually played at Woodstock including Steven "Muruga" Booker, drummer from the Tim Hardin Band and Billy Davis Detroit , who accompanied Jimi Hendrix to Woodstock and is credited with having showed Jimi some new licks on his guitar! Also revving up the crowds will be Woodstock era tribute band Magic Bus, plus many "pedigree" local Detroit rock and blues legends that played at The Detroit Rock'n'Roll Revival in 1969!greatest music and art festival in history.
