Women Who Tell Our Story: A Women’s History Month Celebration & Book Drive

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® - Omega Xi Omega Chapter New Haven is partnering with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.® – Macomb Alumnae Chapter, and the National Council of Negro Women – Macomb County Section to host “Women Who Tell Our Story Book Drive” on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 1:00-3:00pm at Vinson Chapel AME Church in Clinton Township. Donations sought of new and gently used books written by African American women. Books will be donated to multiple schools in Macomb County for K-12 students. Event includes a short program to honor Women’s History Month and highlight local authors.
