Wild Lights

Over 5 million LED lights will brighten trees, buildings, and more than 100 animal sculptures at the front of Detroit Zoo this holiday season and locals are invited to enjoy every single one at Wild Lights, which takes place every weekend throughout December. There will be live entertainment, arts and crafts for the kids, and ice carving, plus the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit will be open, adding to the festivities. Take the Plunge down a 22-foot-tall, 150-foot-long slide or sit for a 14-minute 4-D version of The Polar Express. The whole thing adds up to a night of holiday fun for the whole family.
