Veterans For Peace Golden Rule Peace Sailboat

The Golden Rule, a sailboat who’s crew in 1958 took actions to enter, and stop nuclear weapons testing areas, in the Pacific Ocean (and inspired other peace ships) will dock at the William G. Milliken State Park and Harbor on the Detroit River from August 13th through the 17th. On Wednesday, August 16th there will be a reception and presentation by the crew of the Golden Rule at Detroit’s Swords Into Plowshares Peace Center & Gallery, 33 East Adams Street, starting at 6pm.
