UCHC's 49th annual dinner

Join the United Community Housing Coalition for its 49th annual dinner Thursday, Nov. 9, at historic Marygrove Conservancy. Help UCHC celebrate a year’s worth of accomplishments in affordable housing and learn the latest about eviction and foreclosure prevention in Detroit. Longtime affordable-housing advocate Ted Phillips will discuss the City's historic new right-to-counsel program, and keynote speaker Alex Alsup will examine Mayor Duggan’s new land-value tax proposal. UCHC will also recognize local leaders who’ve positively impacted Detroit housing in the last year, including 36th District Court Judge Shawn K. Jacque. Doors at 5:15 pm. Dinner at 6 p.m.
