Trans-Pacific Trio performing music of living composers

Working together since 2011, the Trans-Pacific Trio is comprised of clarinetist Colin Lord, bassoonist Maria Lord-Kniveton, and pianist Dianne Lord. They have performed in Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Florida, and Papua New Guinea. They released The Trans-Pacific Trio Performs Music of Maria Lord-Kniveton in 2021 and were selected to perform works of Maria Lord-Kniveton at ClarinetFest 2020. Although performing regularly together, seldom have all three members of the ensemble lived on the same side of the Pacific Ocean simultaneously. The 2024-2025 season marks an exception to this trend, with all members residing and performing in Michigan for the entire year!
