THE SAINT: WHERE STARS ARE MADE, NOT BORN

"The Saint: Where Stars Are Made Not Born..." will highlight the tremendous impact one basketball gym had in a local Detroit community for nearly three decades. St. Cecilia is known to many in and around Detroit as The Players' Gym, where over 100 professional basketball players such as Dave Bing, Jalen Rose, and Derrick Coleman perfected their skills and played for the entertainment of their communities. What started as a safe space for teen boys to hang out after the 1967 riots quickly grew into an iconic sports hub beloved by basketball lovers from across the country.
