The Mushroom Hunt (with Cranbrook Institute of Science)
Join Cranbrook Art Museum for a mushroom hunt at the Cranbrook Institute of Science with the Michigan Mushroom Hunters Club (MMHC) and experts from the University of Michigan Herbarium! The event begins with a learning session on mushroom species and responsible foraging, followed by guided or self-led foraging on Cranbrook’s campus. Afterward, we'll reconvene at the Institute to examine our finds, participate in art activities, and view a pop-up exhibition. The event is free with museum admission.
Children accompanied by parents are welcome.
