The Ethereal World of Igor Zaytsev

Igor Zaytsev was born 1958 in Lviv, Ukraine.He received his Bachelor's Degree from Lugansk College of Art and his Masters Degree from National Academy of Art in Kyiv, Ukraine. Zaytsev is among the generation of Ukrainian artists who pioneered new aesthetics outside of the established Soviet realism of the time after "perestroika". He found that his preference was in abstract,surrealism and disrupted realism. Zaytsev became an internationally known artist after the fall of the iron curtain. His works have been acquired by the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture and National Union of Artists of Ukraine for National Art Museums.
