The Detroit blues Heritage Series presents " Tribute to Classic Detroit Blues"

This concert is a celebration of the history of Detroit Blues music. The scene around Detroit’s legendary Paradise Valley was a hotbed of blues in the 1940s and 1950s, with legendary clubs like The Flame Show Bar, Lee’s Sensation, and the 20 Grand featuring the finest urban and jump blues of the day, while the house party scene presided over by John Lee Hooker up and down Hastings street changed the history of blues, and helped give birth to Rock and Roll.
