The Coen Brothers film The Big Lebowski was released March 6, 1998 and fans celebrate the date annually as “The Day of the Dude,” to honor the easygoing philosophy of the movie’s protagonist. Jeff “The Dude” Lebowski lives a simple, contented life based around weed, white russians, and bowling. His principles are exposed and exercised on tangled quest to just get his rug back, man. Bowlero celebrates with a film screening 5pm, ceremonial kick-off at 7pm with the evening's Dudeist Priest, "The Dude" look-alike contest, live music by DUDE and Just Guys Being Dudes.
