The Blackbyrds 50th Anniversary World Tour

The Blackbyrds, created by the teachings of a musical legend Dr. Donald Byrd. Originally formed in Washington, DC in 1973 by Howard University students. They were an inspiration to the hip-hop generation, where their music has been sampled by Tupac, Gang Starr, Da Lynch Mob, Full Force, De La Soul, Eric B and Rakim, NWA and many more. Also on the show, a band that has played with mega stars such as Anita Baker, Chapter 8, The Time, Martha Reeves, and LJ Reynolds. DA’JA will open the show and set the tone for an explosive night of music.
