Planet Ant's 2024-25 season kicks off with The Bald Soprano in the historic original Black Box space. Eugène Ionesco, the master of the absurd, is back. The Planet Ant Black Box this October brings Ionesco back to Detroit with his most seminal absurdist work, The Bald Soprano. Referred to as an Anti-play, The Bald Soprano begins in a quiet, cozy English living room where nothing seems out of the ordinary. Mr. and Mrs. Smith, your average, everyday English couple, are having a very strange conversation.
