Strange Beautiful Music 17

Strange Beautiful Music (SBM) is New Music Detroit’s longest-running annual contemporary music festival. Held in Detroit every September, SBM runs the gamut of sounds - from contemporary classical and avant-pop to experimental jazz, free improvisation, electronica, techno, and music that defies genre! Now in its 17th iteration, SBM is harkening back to its early days of all-day marathon concerts with a single capstone event on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Andy Arts. Performances by My Brightest Diamond, Ahya Simone, Onyx Ashanti, Balance Duo, Dominant Hand, New Music Detroit, and Hub New Music. Doors at 3:30PM/Shows from 4-11PM
