Kasey Wierzba, executive winemaker and general manager at Suttons Bay-based Shady Lane Cellars, will host two wine dinner seatings at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 with Takoi in Detroit. Since planting its first vineyards in 1989, Shady Lane Cellars has been dedicated to showcasing the unique terroir and distinct heritage of the region. Wierzba is focused on producing wines that showcase the natural aromas and flavors of the grapes grown in each vineyard site. Takoi Chef Brad has curated a unique, multi-course menu to accompany these special wines.
