The Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra presents its season opener, titled American Moon, on Friday, October 21, 2022, 8:00 p.m. at Royal Oak Middle School, 709 N. Washington Ave. The concert features soprano Kira Slovaček performing Song to the Moon from the opera Rusalka by Antonin Dvorak, and Knoxville: Summer of 1915 by Samuel Barber. Also on the program are Wake Me Up for the Great Jubilee by George Frederick McKay and Symphony No. 2 by Howard Hanson.
Tickets are $15 adults, $12 for seniors and college students, age 18 and under free.
