Rivera Court
A site-specific dance duet created with and inside Rivera Court. Live original music by Matthew Daher. Performances at 7pm and 8:30pm.
Drawing inspiration from they murals, Sarah Konner and Austin Selden compare the industrial mechanics of machinery to the Biomechanics of performing bodies. The stories depicted on the walls are important to the history of Detroit, full of ritual, movements, and ghosts. Sarah and Austin will layer their voice in the the space and into the ongoing story of the city.
