Projection Mapping Pop-Up: "Red Eyes" at Cranbrook

When: Thu., March 9, 6:30-8:30 p.m. 2023

Join us for a special pop-up projection mapping event on Thursday, March 9, 2023, beginning at 6:30pm at Cranbrook Art Museum’s Peristyle and grounds. The ongoing series by Visiting Artist Motomichi Nakamura is inspired by Shinto, the native animistic religion of Japan that is based on the idea that everything in the world including humans is part of a single unified creation and all things in nature are inhabited by spirits. This pop-up is organized in collaboration with Cranbrook Academy of Art’s 4D Design Department and Cranbrook Art Museum.
