Plucking Performance: Ara Topouzian

Join us Saturday, January 18, anytime between 1-4pm for a "Plucking Performance" by Ara Topouzian! "Plucking," is a performance series accompanying "Subtleism: Neha Vedpathak with Agnes Martin," the latest exhibition in our "Fresh Paint" series. "Plucking" invites musicians to perform acoustic, meditative soundscapes in North Gallery, responding to the durational quality of Vedpathak’s artistic “plucking” technique. Join us for a performance with Ara Topouzian! Topouzian is an Armenian-American musician whose proficiency at the Kanun (Middle Eastern harp with 78 strings) has made him a nationally recognized artist for over thirty years.
