Pierogi

Painted Lady bartender Ericka Pietrzyk was tired of people showing up on Tuesday nights for Timmy’s delicious tacos (thinking naturally that they’d be served up then, because of alliteration), when really that’s Wed. night. So she decided to make her own variations on pierogi. And holy moley, these chewy little guys are so delicious and inventive, especially the jalapeno and cheese ones. Note: According to Wikipedia, “the Polish word pierogi is plural; the singular form pieróg is rarely used, as a typical serving consists of several pierogi.” Amen to several pierogi.
