Picnic

Simone DeSousa EDITION will host PICNIC, a site-specific installation by Campo Studio (Fernando Bales & Elise DeChard). The project aims to blur the lines between object, architecture, and the field in between. The intervention will comprise a series of mobile furniture armatures, each with a standalone presence and use, that together assemble into a cohesive architectural space spanning the gallery and courtyard. Investigating playful materiality and rich tactility, the structures will activate the sensorial boundary between interior and public space. The project will be up through the second week of October.
