Partial Solar Eclipse

Don’t miss your chance to catch a glimpse of the partial solar eclipse! You’re invited to experience this unique celestial event alongside the Institute's astronomy expert and Warren Astronomical Society members. On October 14, beginning at 11:46am and ending at 2:25pm, approximately 46% of the Sun will be covered by the Moon during the partial eclipse peak for skygazers in Michigan. After viewing, you can explore the science behind solar eclipses at our Acheson Planetarium program, Michigan Sky Tonight. During your visit, don’t forget to check out our newest traveling exhibit, Galileo Scientist, Astronomer, Visionary!
