Outdoor Music Experience with TeMaTé Institute for Black Dance and Culture

When: Sat., Sept. 17, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 2022

The TeMaTé Institute invites you to join “Give the Drummer Some!” a live performance that hinges on the relationship between rhythm, and movement. Participants will be supplying music by learning drum patterns for an interactive dance performance. CulturePop is a series of outdoor arts activations that take place in Downtown Detroit parks. This program is presented by CultureSource in partnership with the Gilbert Family Foundation and Downtown Detroit Partnership.
